Katanaya Ichi [Headline Act]

Katanaya Ichi (刀屋壱) is a professional Tokyo-based samurai and ninja performance group founded in 2008 by Dai Mizuno. They blend traditional martial arts (tate and chanbara) with modern theatrical action, performing in over 16 countries and running hands-on sword-fighting workshops and cultural experiences in Tokyo, and around the world in more than 15 countries, and 24 cities.

They will perform on the main stage, and run a sword-fighting workshop at Otamatsuri 2026.

CHONMAGE JAPAN

CHONMAGE JAPAN is a Japanese musical duo formed by vocalist Kumagai Tatsurou and keyboardist ichi from the long-running rock band Watanabe Flower. Launched in 2024 to share Japanese music and anime culture globally, they blend vocals, piano, and international collaborations, performing at major overseas events. This will be their second consecutive year performing at Otamatsuri.

MIRAISKIRT⁺

MIRAISKIRT⁺ is a solo idol project led by Marina Kojima, based in Kyoto, with the concept of “hannari” and pop.  The project began in 2014 and operated as a four-member group until 2016.  She made her major debut in 2015.

In 2016, she performed at major events including Idol Yokocho Natsu Matsuri!!, TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL, @JAM EXPO, and SUMMER SONIC OSAKA.

Since 2017, she has performed at numerous overseas live events in China, Taiwan, France, Kenya, Nigeria, and other countries. She has also collaborated with the Kyoto Prefectural Police and J.League club Kyoto Sanga F.C., and regularly appears at local events.  With a dignified presence that evokes the atmosphere of the ancient capital Kyoto, combined with refined live performances, she continues her activities with strong momentum.

YURAPICO

About three and a half years ago, on June 14, 2022, she launched her self-produced solo project under the concept of “The most passionate idol in the World”!

Starting in February 2023, she held the “#YuraSmile magic Tour” across all 47 prefectures of Japan, culminating in a hugely successful finale at ZEPP SHINJUKU in Tokyo on January 4 of last year.

She also held her first live performance and anime convention appearance in Australia, performing solo in a total of nine countries around the world.
In 2026, she is also scheduled to perform at “Anime Expo,” one of North America’s largest Japanese pop culture events, held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California, for four days from Thursday, July 2 to Sunday, July 5, 2026.

KAREN [COLORFUL SCREAM]

Karen is a member of Colorful Scream, an idol group based in Osaka, Japan.

Known for her signature twin tails, bright smile, and energetic stage presence, she loves creating performances where everyone can sing, dance, and have fun together.  She is also a student at Osaka University, where she studies languages and international cultures, reflecting her passion for connecting with people around the world.

For OTAMATSURI, Karen will perform solo, bringing the music of Colorful Scream to Kenya and sharing the excitement of Japanese idol culture with audiences.

She is excited for her very first performance in Africa and can’t wait to meet everyone!
