Then and Now…

The movie industry has come a long way.  With the audience imagination and intellectual threshold increasing, resulting in a demand for a genuine and STRONG reason for them to be captivated or suspend their belief depending on the genre Hollywood has had to stretch, grow and expand.  Improve on its every aspect to get us, keep us and influence us.  From the small screen to the theatres…

Ever since the terms CGI, 3D, and IMAX started becoming household terms for any entertainment serious person, I have wondered, what would movie-goers from the 1940s – 1960s have thought of our current era, the effects and whatnot?  And for us in today’s entertainment era, what would we have thought if were somehow transported to that time period?  Is there any major difference at all? Have we come a long way…?

They say pictures are worth a thousand words, and be it far from me to bore you with words, terms and alas…sentences 😉 So here are some examples of some “Then and Now” pictures  of well  known properties or movies for your dear comparison and thoughts.

Enjoy 🙂
