THE WOLVERINE Extended Clip | Some Claws, Yakuza and a Train

If you feel your system has had enough of super-hero films this year, then sorry to say, Hollywood isn’t taking it’s foot off the gas anytime soon.  But if you’re on the ProSpandex-And-Tons-of-CGI-Superhero-Blockbuster front, then The Wolverine doesn’t look like it will divert from giving you action, action, more action, claws, action and acts that defy reality. But then again, reality is not the reason why we watch such, is it now? 😉

To add onto recent trailers and promo images,  Fox have released this extended clip where some goons in sunglasses and dressed in black (Yakuza branding most likely) try to do bad things to Hugh Jackman’s Logan/Wolverine. That’s not a good idea in our humble opinion…

Interesting thing to note is the fact that Wolverine isn’t trying to stand his ground, he looks like he is more concerned about getting away… Ofcourse the plot of teh film revolves around our titular hero losing his rapid healing ability that makes him near immortal, so it does raise the question; does this train scene happen after Logan’s ‘immortality’ is taken? And to ride further on that wild horse of speculation; what kind of raw deal makes Wolverine cut ties with the Yakuza…?

All those answers and more will most likely be answered on July 26th, when The Wolverine premiers worldwide.
